Got a call from a bloke claiming he was with O2, saying I supposedly had a business contract with them or one of their offshoots like Giffgaff. I told him I don’t have any deal with Giffgaff. He was clearly just trying to fish for details and was being super pushy about it. I told him I wasn't giving out any info and ended the call. These sorts of people really grind my gears, proper annoying!

Got a call from a woman called Ellie at OneComm saying she could cut our BT phone bill by 30%. I told her we actually don’t use BT directly, but she insisted it was through another provider. When I said the number she called from pops up as a scam online and that if it really was about BT I'd ring them myself, she got quite annoyed and wouldn’t let me get a word in. Definitely a dodgy call trying to scam business details.

Someone called saying they were from the energy team and said I could get discounts because of the rising prices. I told them I’m already with British Gas and asked how I was supposed to qualify for those discounts. They didn’t have an answer. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Had some young punk with spots ringin' me tryin to get my 02 details. Told the kid to jog on and ended the call. Then the cheeky little sod tried callin' again but blocked his number straight away.

Had a call earlier from this number, 0161 804 3402, and they were fishing for info, asking if I was the person with the O2 contract. Honestly, sounds like a scam to me. Would be careful with them.

Some bloke called saying I’d been picked for a special EE business tariff. When I asked where he got my number from, he just switched the subject and asked what I thought about O2. I told him I wasn’t even with O2, and then he quickly ended the call.

Got a call from some lot claiming I’d won a prize, but really they were peddling Vodafone business deals. They said I’d been chosen, but when I asked how they even got my number, they clammed up and just mumbled something about GDPR and “those tick box things”. Before I could even tell them to take me off their list, they hung up. Proper shady, so straight to block!

Got a call from someone trying to get me to switch to O2 - funny thing is, I don't even use O2 as my phone provider. Definitely sounded like a dodgy scam.
