i got a call from some guy with an accent, sounded like he was in a call centre. he said something about my internet speed. i joked if he wanted me to connect him to my router directly and he just agreed. then when i said no way that's silly, he just ended the call lol.

Got a call from a guy who said his name was Sam and that he worked for BT Openreach. He had a really thick Indian accent and it sounded like the call was coming through from abroad. I just ended the call straight away.

This morning I got a call on my landline from someone with an Indian accent. There was loads of background noise, but as soon as I answered with a hello, the line just cut off!

Answered the phone and all I got was silence, didn’t hear a single word. No doubt it was some sort of scam.
