I received a voicemail featuring a woman’s voice stating that there were three suspicious transactions allegedly withdrawn from my bank, including an overseas payment. She instructed me to press 1 to halt these supposed payments. Instead of complying, I decided to hang up and jot down the number. After I had a look at my bank statement, I was relieved to find there were no such charges at all.
