Normally I just let calls from unknown numbers go to voicemail, but I decided to pick up this time. It turned out to be one of those automated messages with a woman saying something like, "This is your bank security, we've noticed two big transactions..." I hung up straight away. It’s just another in the endless stream of scam calls, and none of them seem bothered that my number is on the Telephone Preference Service list.
