Got a couple of calls earlier on from someone claiming to be BT.

Got a call from a bloke called "Matt" with a strong Asian accent, said he was from BT. He reckoned someone else had been mooching off our internet, gave some number like 1717. When I told him it sounded dodgy, he just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call around midday today from someone pretending to be BT, saying my computer had viruses that were messing up BT lines. They used the number 0203919381. I’m on the TPS and my phone number is ex-directory, but apparently none of that matters to these scammers.
