Got a call from someone saying they’re from Canon offering to help set up my printer with my Chromebook. They asked me to install some remote access software so they could "fix" it for me. Felt a bit dodgy, so I just hung up straight away.

Utterly dodgy, that was! A blatant printer scam, if ever I heard one! The caller was attempting to trick me into letting them access my computer under the guise of assisting with a printer setup. Such cheek!

Got a call from this number about some printer issue. I only have an iPhone, no computer, so I reckon they realised they couldn’t scam me and just hung up. Honestly, stay clear of this number and don’t follow any instructions they give!

Someone rang me pretending to help set up my printer, but I reckon they were trying to get into my computer or something along those lines - seemed pretty dodgy to me. Best not to pick up or call that number back.
