6 yearsI got a call from some automated bloke saying I’d been caught for tax evasion and there was a warrant out for me. They told me to press 1, and I did because I get pretty anxious and have breathing problems from COPD. After I pressed, I was left waiting on hold, then a woman with an accent picked up and asked where I worked and wanted my details. That’s when I got suspicious, as I haven’t had a proper job in over a decade. When I mentioned that usually you'd get a letter first, she just hung up on me.
