It instructed me to press 1, which I regretfully did. Given my struggles with mental health and COPD, I was quite anxious and acted impulsively. Shortly after, I was placed on hold. Eventually, a woman with a foreign accent picked up and asked where I was employed and requested my personal information. At that point, I began to feel uneasy, considering I haven’t been in work for over a decade. When I pointed out how odd it was that I hadn’t received any prior correspondence, she abruptly disconnected the call.
