Somebody said they were from an energy provider, but I stopped the call straight away before they said any more. Could be just annoying spam, but seeing what others have shared, it probably was a scam.

This number has called me a couple of times and I reckon it’s probably a scam. I don’t know anyone from the 0161 area so I just don’t pick up. From my past experience with 0161 callers, it’s best to either block the number or just ignore it unless you’re expecting a call from there.

Looks like a scam, tried ringing back but couldn’t get through.

Some bloke called saying he was from the housing repair team, wanted to know if I had any problems. I told him I had this damp crack at the back of my place, but I was having a bit of a laugh. Didn’t seem to catch the joke though and passed me onto some supervisor. I ended up spinning a wild story for about five minutes before he finally gave up and hung up. Honestly, if you haven’t had one of these calls yet, you’re missing out - it’s definitely a scam.
