Someone called me about life insurance, saying it’s good to have a check-up every 6 to 12 months. I ended up giving a bit of info but nothing important, and they said I still fit the criteria for a review and someone would get back in touch. I told them I wasn’t interested in any review or follow-up calls, then they just ended the call. Not really sure if it was a scam trying to catch me saying yes or no.

They keep ringing and when you pick up, there’s dead silence. I usually don’t pick up unknown numbers but I heard if you do, they stop calling you. That’s rubbish because they just target you from a new number after you block the old one. It’s been 4 days straight with these calls. Why can’t the government sort out these nuisance callers already?

Got a call from a call centre pretending to be from the CCG saying they were looking into PPI. They weren't honest about who they really were and just hung up on me when I began asking for proof and asked to be removed from their list. All this started after I answered a silent call from another number (02034681825) and accidentally told them my name.

Got a call from a call centre about PPI, told them to stop bothering me and remove my number from their list. They still called again the next week. I blocked that number but then got another call from Manchester, so I guess they’re using a switchboard with loads of different lines. Don’t know anyone in Manchester, so I’ll just hang up if it happens again.
