Got two calls back to back today from 0161 468 512 and then 0161 456 48711. Both of these numbers are clearly dodgy, wrong number of digits and all, so just scammers trying their luck. Honestly, it’s so annoying I wish they’d just stop wasting everyone’s time. Because of these endless nuisance calls, I hardly leave my phone on loud anymore, making it pretty useless. Is this what we call progress? We’re living in times where random con artists are more likely to ring than actual people we want to talk to.

they ring me nearly 5 times every week. its always central claims group about some ppi thing. i never gave them my number and even took myself off the list before, but they just dont stop. so usually i get halfway through their chat and start singing “its coming home” down the phone. one lady got really mad at me, which made me laugh. she called me a time-waster. just what i expected.

They mentioned they were from CCG, which I’m guessing stands for Central Claims Group, the ones who handle ppt stuff. Seemed polite enough but I’ve now blocked the number.
