Avoid answering this number, total scam. I got calls from this one and another number claiming to be from some council housing repair company. It’s just a con. They want to trick you into giving details about your home. They say there’s been a repair reported and they need to visit to fix things. Don’t share any info about your address or yourself. They’ll try to persuade you, maybe saying someone in your household made the complaint. Be careful. NEVER give out your personal or property details. These folks are not to be trusted.

I received a call from someone claiming to provide a complimentary boiler replacement, but honestly, it felt incredibly dodgy. It seemed like one of those too-good-to-be-true situations that raises all sorts of red flags.

Another one of those nasty, threatening calls I keep getting, honestly they must think it’s hilarious. Not sure why anyone gets satisfaction from this kind of behaviour. They said “we know where you live” - well, I’d love to see them try! For anyone else dealing with this nonsense, best advice is just to block, report, and keep yourself protected. Stay safe everyone!

So, I got told I could swap my old boiler for a brand new one, completely free, no costs at all… Just because they keep repeating “free” doesn’t mean it’s true. Over the last week, I’ve had about 7 calls from what look like housing association scams or something similar. Honestly, these scammers really need to be stopped.
