Someone called saying they were from CCU and asked why I hadn’t sent back the forms about claiming PPI. I told them I never got any paperwork and I’ve already claimed my PPI so I wasn’t interested. They just ended the call on me. Bit funny really.

Got a call on my phone from some dodgy outfit called 'Claims UK', sounded like one of them boiler-room scams. Some bloke was really pushy about PPI or whatever. I tried to be nice and say he was wasting his time, but he just wouldn’t shut up, so I ended the call. Reckon he might’ve started getting rude if I’d stayed on. Told him to remove my number, but I’m not holding my breath - bet I’ll get calls from other muppets still.

Got a call from some pushy PPI company, and the woman on the line sounded proper mad. Had a bit of a laugh messing with them for a few mins.

Some woman rang me about PPI and when I asked where she got my details from, she mentioned a company called Media Octopus. I told her I’d never heard of them and hadn’t agreed to share my info with anyone else. She kept going on about how important PPI was, but I just told her to delete all my info because I’m not interested in those services.

Got a ring from this number earlier today, picked up and could hear some sort of noise but no proper voice, just that creepy silence. So, I've gone ahead and blocked it now. I’m proper sick of these pointless calls, especially since I’ve got to keep my phone on at work. It really winds me up how often I get calls like this. I know I should just ignore them but every now and then you wonder if it might be something important. If the officials are aware these are dodgy numbers, why aren’t they doing more to track these scammers down and actually lock them up? It’s about time these nasty people faced some real consequences.
