Someone rang asking for my missus. Claimed they were from some sort of insurance doctors or the like. When I asked what the call was about, they said it was a life insurance review. Told them we’re ex-directory but somehow they still got our details. After a bit of back and forth, I finally got them to hang up!

Got a call from someone today who actually knew my name. He said he was ringing about my life insurance through AVIVA. I told him I don’t have any policy with them. He quickly said sorry for the mix-up and then ended the call.

So, I found out that if you want to stop getting calls from this company called consumer care, you actually have to call them and ask to be removed from their list. Bit strange, but that’s what you’ve gotta do.
