They told me I’d been in an accident and got compensation even though I wasn’t there. Someone said I should block the number. Turns out it’s linked to a scam group.

Yet another dodgy outfit pretending to help with a "consumer claim" just to get your private info - best to block them straight away!

somebody said they were from ‘consumer claims’ and wanted to assist me with claiming ppi that my bank(s) supposedly sold me wrongly as part of some finance deal i had. they couldn’t say how they got my info, or which finance i’d supposedly taken, plus they had a previous address for me. told them to delete my details or i'd report them to the ico. call ended right away!

phoned the landline at 7:48pm asking for my partner, told them he wasnt in, then the phone just went dead! such a rude person.

there was a girl with an asian accent talking but I didn't catch most of what she was saying. I asked how she got my number, and she mentioned something about priority 1 and priority 2 lists. I told her I had no idea what she was trying to sell and asked her not to call me again. ended the call before she could respond.
