When they rang again, I decided to waste a bit of their time and chatted with them for around 10 minutes. Eventually, when they found out I didn’t have any unsecured loans, they started asking if my family or mates did. That’s when I told them I was just messing about. Still, they tried to push on, which felt really dodgy to me. Asking for that sort of info is just wrong. Wouldn’t recommend picking up.

This is Initial Advice. They’ve been ringing my work phone for a few weeks but I kept ignoring it. When I finally picked up to find out who it was, I got an automated message saying “this is Initial Advice, please hold for an operator. If you don’t want calls, email us.” Sure, as if I’m gonna give them my email to spam. Looks like they just got hold of a phone directory or something since they’re even calling my work number.
