Honestly, I don’t mind these calls much, I’m pretty good at handling these dodgy scammers. Just challenge them and keep asking questions. They always get all nervous, agitated and sometimes even rude. It’s cause they can tell you’re not falling for their nonsense. I keep blocking their numbers but they just call again from somewhere else. The ones pretending to be from Amazon have been bothering me for ages now. Stay strong everyone and look out for yourselves.

Like loads of others who've posted here, I'm absolutely fed up with these s#### scammers trying to rip us off. I've had about four phone calls today plus a dodgy email pretending to be from Amazon. Normally I just tell them to get lost or say something nasty like hoping they catch COVID, but it still leaves me feeling annoyed and upset. I’ve started trying to outsmart them instead, like saying, “Oh so you’re calling from Manchester? Which pub’s next to the city hall again?” Or even, “Hold on, do you want me to give you my bank details? My name’s Mike Hunt.”

FRAUDSTERS!!! These tries to steal from us all should be handed straight over to the police system so they get a clear picture of how widespread and what kind of criminal stuff it is. And from time to time they do catch some of these people, sometimes with help from police abroad. Just search for “action fraud” online, pick the ‘police.uk’ link, click the ‘reporting’ button, choose the phishing report part from the dropdown, then scroll down through the scam email details to start your report. No need to sign up and it’s quicker than posting here. Be careful out there mates!

I've received a couple of calls from this particular number on my mobile device. Strangely enough, on both occasions, there wasn't a single voicemail left, which makes me a bit wary. I've scoured my personal contacts and can't find anyone associated with this number at all. Quite curious, isn't it?

Some bloke called me up sayin’ I owed money. I told him I didn’t and told him to buzz off. Then he threatened that when I got back from work, my dog would be gone! I freaked out and dashed home as fast as I could, thinking my poor dog had been nicked. I phoned the coppers and when they showed up to ask questions, they wanted to know what kind of dog I had. That’s when I realised I don’t even own a dog. Honestly, the whole thing was really stressful and annoying.

Been receiving calls on my landline and mobile constantly. They ring from loads of different numbers, some even show as blocked. Besides this one, they also use: 0161 7683170 - 07170 695090 - 0161 76830 - 0161 4647782 - 0161 5325550. No clue who’s calling since there’s never anyone speaking when I answer.

I keep declining and blocking but the very next day I get calls from numbers that look pretty much the same, just one or two digits off. Also had scam calls this week from Rotherham and Southport claiming to be Amazon, trying to get my account details. Pretty annoying!
