01610764608 rang me and when I picked up, there was a recorded message about some HMRC scam saying a case was opened against me. They didn’t even say my name but told me to press 1 to respond or else they’d issue an arrest warrant and come after me soon. Total scam, don’t fall for it!!!

I received a phone call from someone claiming he was 'reopening' an inquiry from some previous PPI firm. I explained to him that we had already confirmed there was no PPI to look into. He then had the audacity to call me naive and muddled, alluding to my age! What a cheeky git!

Just got a call about some 're-opened' case on a debt that doesn’t even exist, already looked into it thoroughly. Then the caller has the nerve to say I’m confused and naive because I’m 'OLD'?? I’m a freshly retired Senior Local Gov worker. Proper cheeky bloke!

Im always wary of these calls, better not answer or tap the link. Just block it right away! If its really important, they will send you something in writing anyway. Just block and report these dodgy numbers.

Just like others have said, I got a message too saying I could get £3000 but it wasn’t from a proper official place, had my name and bank on there but the house number was wrong, even though the street was right. Honestly, I really want to know where they’re getting all this info from and when someone will actually stop these dodgy scams for good.
