Answered the call, but it went straight to my voicemail. Checked the number here and decided to block it now.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to know about a crash I was in. They didn’t have my name or where I live or anything specific about the accident. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a few calls from these lot today. When I told them I’d report them to the cops, they just hung up. Be sure to warn your older family members and mates about this one. They kept saying the cheque must be delivered in person but wouldn’t say which bank was sending it. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got calls from this number a few times today. When I told them I’d report them to the cops, they just cut me off. Make sure your older family members and mates know about this one. They kept saying the cheque must be delivered by hand, but wouldn’t say which bank supposedly sent it. Dodgy as hell.

I received a rather dubious call claiming that I was owed over £5000 in PPI. They suggested they could pop over to my place with a cheque but would need me to fork out £300 for the 'service'. They even inquired if it would be more convenient to come to my office instead. Just a word of caution: don't part with any cash!

Got a call saying I'd apparently got over £5000 in PPI and they wanted to pop round with a cheque. Just blocked the number straight away.

Got another call today, some bloke saying I've got £5412 in PPI waiting for me, and that David Smith will deliver it at 1pm! They wanted me to pay £300 upfront first. Absolutely not happening. As soon as I told them I'd report their number, they just hung up on me, no shock there.

This number persistently contacts my daughter, who is not of legal age to apply for a loan. These individuals must be reported immediately!

They called saying there’s a PPI claim sorted for me but I need to cough up £250 first before any cheque is sent. Total scam, watch out everyone!

This lot are total fraudsters. I got a call from them saying I’d been accepted for a loan, which was rubbish. They claimed my credit score was rubbish too, which it definitely isn’t. Then they tried to convince me I had to get insurance for this supposed loan. When I told the guy it was a con, he threatened he already had my bank details and would set up a direct debit to drain my account. Proper nasty people.

Received another call at 10:10 this morning, and yet again I was greeted with that same recorded message that begins with "Madam," despite the fact it was a bloke on the other end of the line. Quite amusing, really!

So this number kept ringing me this week. When I answered, it was a recorded voice saying I won some big prize. They told me to keep an eye on my postbox in the next few days because I'd get a letter with their lifestyle mag and a cheque. I just went ahead and blocked them, didn’t want to deal with the hassle.

The firm goes by the name of Biotonic. They peddle overpriced skincare potions, cleverly luring you in with the tantalising offer of a substantial cash prize draw.

Totally a rip off! Back in 2015, someone called Luca Etlar left me the exact same voicemail as now, right after I switched my primary phone number. Seems like they're trying the same trick all over again. Best to just ignore it.

I've been receiving calls from Biotonic multiple times a week, incessantly nagging me about a prize draw receipt I apparently haven't sent back. It's all quite the dodgy affair-these folks are peddling skincare products at extortionate rates. Just a heads-up: steer clear of these scammers, or you might end up losing your hard-earned cash. - Caller: Automated voice - Managing Director of BIOTONIC

Any call originating from the 0161-768 range is managed by a firm known as Voxbone, which enables overseas callers to present themselves as though they’re ringing from a UK line. Therefore, if you spot that particular code, it's probably best to ignore the call altogether.

This number keeps ringing me non-stop, and when I check my answerphone there's a message from someone called Lucas Etlar, sounds like a recording, talking about some big cheque or something. It's happening like a few times every day for the past couple of weeks now. Does anyone know how to make it stop?

BEWARE, this is nothing more than a con job aimed at peddling alternative health products, with ties to Belgium. There's a number of firms using this line to make it seem as though they're ringing from the Manchester locale -- names such as Biotonic, Our Life, and TV Vitality pop up frequently. You can expect calls around 8:05 AM UK time, from an individual who identifies himself as "Louis Erkla," a name which is decidedly dubious, and he claims to be the CEO. Regardless of whether you pick up or not, he leaves a pre-recorded message stating that a letter is on its way, and if you respond right away, you could supposedly receive a cheque for either £15,500 or £20,500. Sure enough, the letter arrives at your door, but its phrasing is ingeniously misleading - it tries to convince you that you’ve already won that huge cheque, when in reality, after taking advice from the UK Home Office and UK Trading Standards, the advice is clear: "do not be deceived." The actual "prize" is a meagre £1 voucher, which can only be used to buy more products from their firm. The Home Office strongly advises against making any purchases from such companies; you can easily find these products at far more reasonable prices within the UK without being misled. - Of the callers, Biotonic Belgium is one to watch out for.

I've been inundated with calls from this number, and when I check my voicemail, there's a message from someone named Lucas Etlar-sounds rather pre-recorded, if you ask me. He's going on about some hefty cheque and similar nonsense. The frequency of these calls has been relentless, coming in multiple times each day for the past fortnight. I'm at my wits' end! Any suggestions on how to put an end to this nuisance? - Caller: Lucas Etlar

Absolutely a shady character. Whatever you do, steer clear and don’t part with a single penny!

Be cautious, this is a classic marketing ruse. The firm in question, Biotonic, operates out of Belgium and France, peddling herbal products while enticing individuals into thinking they’ve entered a sweepstakes for a whopping £15,500 or more, should they respond. The caller introduces himself as Louis Erkla, claiming to be the CEO of BIOTONIC or connected to entities labelled "OUR LIFE" or "TV VITALITY." According to information from the UK Home Office and Trading Standards, this is indeed a scam and it’s strongly advised to steer clear of any purchases. The only thing people seem to win is a one-pound cheque, yet their scripted phone messages and mail promotions are crafted in such a way that they mislead you into thinking you’ve secured a substantial cash prize of either £15,500 or £20,500. My recommendation? Don't fall for it.
