I received a rather distressing call out of the blue, where the caller was trying to push me into changing my energy provider. When I declined, they responded with what sounded like a burp and promptly cut off the line. It honestly felt like a sound effect from a recording rather than a genuine reaction!

Picked up the phone and a total stranger on the other end exclaimed, “Oh, so you’re still breathing!” before abruptly ending the call. Quite strange, if you ask me!
