I got a call from a so-called loan company, said they were NationalLoans[###]. They kept pushing for a deposit before giving me the money they promised. Totally shady and way too pushy. When I asked for any paperwork, they just wouldn't send anything. Definitely a bunch of scammers. Avoid them at all costs.

Received a rather dodgy call from some chap across the pond, insisting he was representing the Citizen's Claims Bureau and inquiring about my PPI claims. I informed him that I hadn't given my consent for such calls and reminded him that, thanks to the latest regulations, he was actually contravening the law. Strangely, he insisted he wasn’t after any dosh! Just another trick up their sleeve, if you ask me. I told him to clear off!

When he asked if I had a Visa or Mastercard, he urged me to provide my credit card details for a money transfer. Aware of the situation, I informed him that I didn't have my wallet with me as I had left it at my office by mistake. He mentioned that he would call me again tomorrow and I promptly disconnected the call. I'm grateful for the assistance provided by good-hearted people regarding these matters.
