At first I figured it was just another random cold call, but I ended up giving the bloke on the line a proper listen. Turns out the number belongs to a firm named Shencoh, and I've actually joined them. Just got nearly 20 grand back from HMRC in tax refunds. Definitely worth having a natter with.

Avoid this company at all costs if you’re trying to get an R&D claim sorted. They’re completely useless and not to be trusted. Find another company to handle it instead.

I came across a proper r&d tax expert firm who really seem keen to help limited companies get their dues back for innovation work. Def worth having a word with them to check if you might qualify for some tax rebates from hmrc. In some cases, claims have gone up to tens of thousands. ([#]shencoh[###])

When I first got the call, I thought it was just another annoying cold caller, but actually it turned out pretty good. The company’s called Shencoh, and they’re helping me sort out my R&D claim come November. They do it on a no win, no fee basis and apparently they’ve never had a claim rejected before. So, I figured why not give it a go? Big thanks to Shencoh - had a nice chat with them, definitely worth it.
