Got a call from this number, 01617381975, and there was a lady with what sounded like an Indian accent asking for me by my name. She said she was from some Tax Refund company. I told her I didn’t request any call and just ended the call straight away.

Got a call at 8:10 in the morning claiming it's some tax refund firm (you can easily sort it yourself for free, by the way). They wanted my partner by name. I told them not to call back, but they just said they'd phone again later!

I’ve asked this company loads of times to quit ringing my mum, she’s 85 and it’s really distressing her. I made it clear they are NOT to phone her anymore. When I chatted with a supervisor, he just kept going with the same sales talk - so annoying!

Honestly, just a dodgy tactic from a really unpleasant firm.

I clearly communicated that I had no PPI claims, hence there was no possibility of a refund, and requested that my number be taken off their list. In a rather mocking tone, she responded, "Oh, of course you haven't." I didn’t even mention PPI; she was the one claiming to be reaching out about a supposed PPI tax refund from HMRC! I insisted that my number be erased from their records, yet she persisted, saying I hadn’t heard her out. I promptly reiterated my lack of interest and asked her to stop the calls. She kept going on about how I didn’t understand what I was talking about, which led me to raise my voice, demanding she remove my number. Then, in a huff, she declared that she wouldn’t if I was going to shout, and abruptly hung up! It’s an absolute scam, without a shadow of a doubt!

I received a call from this number earlier today, and honestly, I wasn't quite on the ball. The caller mentioned my name, and in a moment of foolishness, I ended up sharing my address with him.
