I blocked this number ages ago so it only pops up on my screen but my phone doesn’t ring. They used to ring me loads of times a day but now it’s more like every few weeks. You’d think they’d have stopped by now. Totally a scam, but it’s no bother if you keep it blocked.

I'd say just block the number and report it to the cops because this is definitely a scam call. If you pick up, they'll probably try to steal your info. It's proper fraud, so best to stay clear.

Kept ringing my phone over and over, never picked up but after seeing what others said here, I’ve blocked the number.

I got a call from someone claiming I was listed on some database and that I could get a PPI refund. I told them I wasn’t interested right away, but they kept pushing harder the longer I stayed on the phone. When I said again I didn’t want anything, the caller just hung up abruptly. Definitely blocked that number!
