Had a call from a lady with an Indian accent, said it was to do with my tax refund. Kinda obvious it was one of those dodgy scam calls!

Got a call just now from this number, they claimed I was owed a cheque for more than £1000 but then asked me for my national insurance number. I told them I wasn’t near it right now and didn’t have the details, but they kept saying they couldn’t process the cheque unless I gave them that info. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.

01617381297; Got a call from this number once more. The bloke on the line had an accent that sounded like it might be Pakistani. He was saying I was due a tax refund and asked me for my bank info. Added this one to my growing list of blocked numbers. It's really frustrating that the phone companies don’t do more to stop these scams.

Got a call saying I’m entitled to some kind of extra 8% tax refund, something like £1380 minimum. Then I got this dodgy email asking me to "verify my information" so they can send a cheque in the post. Don’t fall for it! The email link is a trap, don’t click it. The address was something rubbish like [email protected] - definitely not any official HMRC contact. Stay safe and ignore these scams!

This number rang me earlier today. A lady with a nice tone answered and started talking about some sort of PPE, maybe protective gear or something, from "us" or so she said. She also threw in the name of a company, though I didn’t catch it properly. It sounded like she was referring to a chat we had before, but I wasn’t sure. I quickly chose not to engage much and ended the call myself.

Totally a SCAM! This bloke said he was here to help me with PPI claims. When I asked how he got my information, he got all defensive. Then when I told him he was sounding annoyed, he flipped it and said I was the one annoyed. Such unprofessional behaviour 😂🚩🚩🚩. Can't imagine how they can just chill at night, honestly!

I just saw a missed call from this number. They left a voicemail, using my first name and sounding really rude, saying they could hear me breathing and asking why I wasn’t answering. That’s weird because I never picked up, so how on earth could they hear me?! No idea who this person is or where they’re calling from, because they didn’t say. When I tried to call back, it just said the call couldn’t go through. Feels like some kind of scam to me.
