I received a rather alarming call from this number, claiming to be from the tax office. They insisted that I owed a staggering £5000, and that the police were on their way to arrest me! Quite concerning, but I’m confident that my tax affairs are in order.

Received a recorded message claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs, urging me to return the call promptly. They warned that failing to do so could result in legal consequences. I suspect it's a scam, as I doubt that HMRC would use a recorded message or contact me in such a manner. Quite fishy, if you ask me!

Got a robo call from someone saying they were 'Rachel Todd' from HMRC, sounded like an American with some urgent legal stuff that needed sorting fast or else court action. Rang up the actual HMRC just to check and they told me it was all fake. Seriously, don’t bother calling back!

11th April, 09:35 - Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC. They were really pushy and threatened me to ring them back or else I'd get into trouble with the law. Felt pretty aggressive and totally uncalled for.

Got a voicemail from some robotic American voice, Rachel Todd, claiming to be from HMRC. She said I’m being investigated for tax fraud and to call her back on the same number. Seriously, don’t call them! She kept threatening me with criminal charges and all that. Absolute joke!
