About 30 minutes ago, my dad got a call from someone saying he was John from Medical Alert. He claimed dad could qualify for a free neck pillow and then started asking if he used walking aids or wore a medical alert pendant. I’m really wondering how they even got hold of my dad’s number in the first place. It’s definitely a scam in my opinion. I’ve warned my dad not to answer or respond to any future calls from these people - it’s awful how they target older, vulnerable folks like that. Proper nasty behaviour.
