I received a call from someone purporting to be from the local council's housing department. To my surprise, they had an alarming amount of information regarding a repair I'd requested through the council. On 22nd Dec 2020, I got a call from a bloke who told me I was having issues with my social housing place. I quickly told him I don't live in any social housing and ended the call.

This was pointless, had nothing to do with me at all. They asked if I wanted repairs on my social housing property, but I don’t even live in a house - I live on a boat! When I called them back, they said I’d been in a car crash. I asked where they got my info from and they couldn’t give me a proper answer. Isn't this a data protection issue or something?
