They rang me again about that crash I was in back in December. Started off a bit nicer this time, but then quickly got onto the cash they reckon I'm owed. I said I’m not interested, she asked why. Told her I thought it was a scam. She went on about not asking for my bank info yet. I told her, since you lot were so quick to pass on my info, you should be just as quick to take me off your list and stop calling. I told her I was hanging up and she just said bye then.

Just like everyone else has said, I’ve been getting nonstop calls from what’s gotta be the same firm, all saying I’m owed money from a No Fault crash back in Feb that’s already been sorted. They ring me loads every week, but always from different numbers. I’ve started ignoring any calls from unknown numbers and blocking them if there’s no voicemail. It’s really annoying and feels like it’ll never stop.

Got a call from someone saying they were from an accident claims firm about a crash I was in back in Feb 2020. None of the details they gave were right. When I challenged them, the person got really nasty and pushy. Ended up blocking them straight away.

This company is definitely a scam, they want you to cancel your current life insurance and then they start asking loads of personal info. Don’t give them anything. I’m in the biz and I know they shouldn’t be requesting bank details like that. I played along just to gather enough info to give a proper warning but never shared any of my own details.

The best way to handle them is to tell them you’re a data protection officer. Let them know that under the GDPR rules from 2018, they can’t contact you unless you’ve explicitly agreed to it. If not, they’re breaking the law by calling. Usually, they hang up pretty quick after that.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from the 'Review Department', saying they were following up because I hadn't gone over my life insurance plan lately. When I asked which company she was with, she just said 'Review Department' again! She even used my old surname but my policy is under my married name. I asked her what info she actually had on my policy and she ended the call pretty sharpish!

What a dreadful experience! I encountered a rather rude chap who seemed more intent on talking over me than actually listening. He insisted the call was regarding my life insurance, but when I told him to wipe my details and that I didn't require his services-seeing as I don't even have life insurance-he just kept babbling on.
