Got a call from some bloke named Callum Smith! Asked if I'd had any accidents in the past couple of years. Nope, not me - I'm pretty careful with my driving, haha. Maybe he's got the wrong person or mixed up with someone else on the insurance? Don’t think so! I only drive my van, so it can't be me. The guy was quite polite mind, quite young too, but definitely not legit. Just some lad pretending, I guess.

Got a call from someone claiming their firm was looking into a car crash I supposedly took part in. I told them straight up that I’d not been in any accident, then they just ended the call. Because some of my family work with the police, I let them know about it. Be careful and don’t hand over any of your bank info if this number gets in touch.

Got a call earlier about my washing machine insurance running out. I said it’s already sorted with a different provider until later in the year. Tried to find out who exactly was calling but couldn’t make out the name. As soon as I asked why they were calling me, they just ended the call.

This lady called me up and straight away she knew my name and where I live. She said my fridge freezer and washing machine insurance had run out and offered to renew it immediately over the phone. Thing is, I don’t even have insurance for those! I asked her to send me the papers through the post so I can have a proper look before doing anything. This bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Daniel gave me a ring about some washing machine warranty that had expired. I told him mine was already knackered, and then he tried going on about covering other appliances under warranty too. I asked if he was a fan of YouTube just to waste time, then ended the call. When I rang the number back, a robotic voice came on saying it was about sales and marketing. After reading a few comments here, I reckon it’s some sort of scam or dodgy deal. I’ve blocked the number now.

When I asked for the exact length of the warranty and when it ended, the guy, who had an Asian accent, just said “today”. I told him it sounded like a scam to get my bank details. He actually had the cheek to say I was being rude! Thankfully, he hung up before I could really give him a piece of my mind. BEWARE - this is a dodgy scam call.

Got called by some ambulance chaser spouting off nonsense about a crash that never happened. If there’s any proper company using this number and you've tried ringing me, sorry but I’ve blocked it now.
