Got a call the other day, they wanted to speak to me but wouldn’t say why unless I did some kind of security check. I've never really got that, like if they called back, I’d be fine with the check, but when they’re ringing you out of the blue it feels sketchy. Now when I get random numbers calling, I go straight in with “Right, before we continue, I’ll need your mum’s maiden name and your bank sort code.” Not surprisingly, they tend to hang up pretty quick after that!

I just noticed a missed call from this number on my phone.

I got a call earlier from this number, and the bloke was asking for my husband. I kept telling him that my phone number isn’t linked to him at all and never has been. He insisted he had to speak with my husband before he could remove my number from their system. I explained at least four times that the number is mine, on my contract, and not my husband’s, but he got really rude and kept saying only my husband could get the number taken off. Then, to top it off, he just hung up on me.
