I got a call from a very polite and professional sounding woman who said I’d done a survey and was calling from CLC. They did know my name but all the other details they mentioned (like living with a partner, yearly income, etc) were totally wrong. She told me I’d won £1000 for a holiday and put me through to the rewards team. I looked them up here and it definitely sounds dodgy - classic scam, be careful and steer clear!

I keep getting calls from this same firm that ran that winter wonderland competition. They keep insisting that I’ve bagged a holiday, but of course, I’m meant to cough up for the flights. They’re asking for all sorts of information. I told them I’m not keen, yet they persist in ringing me daily from various numbers-I've had to block four of them already!

It’s one of those Club La Costa timeshare things, or some get-rich-quick abroad property deal. I gave them my details on a form at Alicante airport while waiting for my flight back to the UK earlier this year. You know the type, some smartly dressed person comes up asking if you can spare a minute for a few questions. Anyway, they hold a giveaway 4 times yearly, so if you’ve ever filled one of those forms in at the airport, expect to be pestered with calls nonstop.

CCL World called me claiming I’d won a holiday after completing a survey - all I had to do was sort my flights! I told them I wasn’t going anywhere until after April 2017. They’ve also tried ringing me from 01617698713, 02077480186 & 01617698710. This is the fourth time they’ve called even though I’ve asked them to take me off their list!

I received a call today (3rd October 2016) regarding a holiday questionnaire I supposedly filled out while flying a few years back. They claimed I had "won a getaway for up to six people" that would be valid for a year, with the only expense being the flight tickets. Naturally, I inquired about the catch and whether this was somehow associated with timeshare schemes, but the response was rather vague; they merely mentioned that their company has a range of resorts to choose from. Subsequently, the initial caller transferred me to someone in the 'Awards department' who bombarded me with personal questions, including whether our combined yearly income was "over or under £30,000". I firmly expressed my reluctance to divulge such sensitive information, only to be told that they could not move forward with the supposed prize. Be cautious, everyone!

Got a call today claiming I’d completed some online survey about mother and baby stuff over the past 5-8 years!! Seriously?? I told him I don’t remember doing any such thing. Then he started asking if I’m married, if I make over 30k, and if I own my house. Next, he said I’d won a holiday to the same places others mentioned and that he’d connect me with the rewards team since I asked for written confirmation. Right as he was about to put me through, I just hung up! These lot should honestly be embarrassed!!

Got a call from these lot earlier today, they called me by my first name and told me I’d won a prize for completing some online survey. I told them I don’t do surveys or enter competitions, plus I’m on the TPS list, so they need to remove my details from their database. Warned them if I get any more calls, I’ll report them straight to TPS and they could end up with a fine. Then I just hung up on them.

I received a call from someone claiming I'd won a holiday overseas for up to six people, which could be used within a year. When I asked for written confirmation, she was on board but insisted we go through the terms and conditions first. I mentioned I was rather occupied at that moment. The curious thing is, I can't recall ever completing a survey, and there were certain questions I definitely wouldn't have answered in the affirmative.

Lesley claimed to be from COC World and told me I'd won free holiday stays in Florida, Turkey or Spain. She then connected me to their rewards team - a woman named Rosemary. But luckily my phone cut out just as she started talking - and by luck I mean for them!! If it seems too good to be true, it usually is!! Watch out folks, they were very convincing and could easily trick someone who isn’t cautious. Make sure to warn your mates and family about this. Stay safe everyone! I've already blocked the number.

CLC gave me a bell, laughin about us winning a free trip to Orlando, Turkey or southern Spain, all we had to do was sort the flights... then they passed me onto the "rewards lot." First thing they ask is if we own our own house, then if me and my missus earn over 30k a year... I said no to both, and the bloke just goes, "Sorry, you ain’t eligible then." Classic scam!

Some lot called from CLC claiming I completed a form online. They even called me by my surname and said I’m roughly 30-35 and married. But that’s exactly what was on the form supposedly filled online. When I corrected them saying I’m older and unmarried, they just ended the call on me.
