Everytime I get a call from a number I don’t recognise, I usually put it on speaker and mute myself to see what happens. So when this number ‭0161 660 6323‬ called, I did exactly that. The caller didn’t silence themselves though, but they didn’t say a word either and just ended the call after around 15 seconds. To me it feels like one of those annoying scam or spam calls since normally someone legit would start talking straight away rather than just waiting silently.

I got a phone call from 01616606323 just now. The person sounded Asian and honestly, I have a feeling it might be some kind of scam.

Got a ring today from this number while I was at work, they claimed to be from my bank. They told me I was owed some money back from an old credit deal I supposedly had. It just didn't sit right with me, so after hanging up I gave my bank a bell and they told me straight away it was a total scam.
