Got a call from a woman with a South African accent who somehow knew my first name. When I asked who was calling, she didn’t say but mentioned they work alongside various big insurance firms. Then she asked if my life insurance was current. Right then, I thought it sounded like one of those scam calls fishing for my info. I blocked the number straight away. Moments later, she rang again from a different number, which just confirmed to me they’re scammers messing with caller ID. Blocked that one as well. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it!
