When I told them I’d already had calls and wasn’t interested, they just started making up excuses like I’d never been rung before and even called me a liar. Honestly, they should just stop messing about and find proper work.

I tried telling him to get in touch with my office for the info, but he just said, "No need, I've got everything I need," then just hung up. Definitely feels a bit dodgy to me.

This number rang me up claiming to be from Legal Assist, some independent legal group linked with Equifax. The caller said they knew about my accident and even mentioned my car's reg plate. They told me I had a Cat C compensation offer waiting, around £2500 to £3000, but only if I signed their paperwork. When I asked which insurance company they worked with, they couldn’t give me a clear answer. Then, they started asking for my National Insurance number and even wanted the other driver’s reg number! That’s when I ended the call.
