Got a call from some place called Blue Money saying they could sort me out with a loan. I kept them chatting to see what nonsense they'd try, but when they asked for my bank account and sort code, I refused. They said they can’t proceed without it, so I just said no and they ended the call. Total scam. Had an Indian accent. They kept calling for weeks so I finally picked up. They only knew my name, nothing else. NEVER give them any info!

BEWARE OF SCAMS! Make sure to report every scam call or message to the police fraud website. Just Google ‘action fraud’ and head to the ‘police.uk’ page. Find the section for ‘reporting phishing attempts’ and carefully read all the info. Then provide the details of the scam including any web links or email addresses. You don’t need to create an account, and they won’t ask for personal information unless you’ve lost money to the scam. The only way the police can track and fight these fraudsters is if we all report every suspicious call or text we get.
