I was looking to discuss my life insurance policy and ended up in a rather uncomfortable situation. The caller would not disclose how they acquired my phone number, which I found rather suspicious. When I asked, “Have I requested you to get in touch regarding life insurance?” they refused to respond. The representative’s manner was somewhat confrontational; they interrupted me consistently and persistently pressed, “Are you saying you don’t have life cover?” After a frustrating exchange, I decided it best to hang up and have since blocked their number.
