We recently had an alarming situation where one of our clients received a dubious call from a fraudulent company purporting to be associated with us. The number they used was 01616600476, and their aim was to deceive our customer into providing sensitive personal and bank information.

Some bloke rang pretending to be from my internet provider, so I asked him which one, totally threw him off. I kept playing along and he tried to get me to give info from my computer, asking what was on my screen after some key combo. I just said, "STOP TALKING TO THIS WOMAN, IT'S A SCAM!" Then he shouted some swear at me - lol, what a muppet!
