Instantly blocked, some woman on the line claiming I got her pregnant, but I was miles away in Punjab, never even set foot there. No thanks, I prefer proper loos over squatting by the roadside. Just another bunch of scammers trying their luck.

Just got a call from what sounded like a call centre. The lady said she was English but honestly I couldnt catch much of what she was saying, something about making me pregnant I think? I told her that’s not gonna happen, I’m 98 years old! Then she goes on about making the impossible happen if I send her 10 thousand quid, she’d make me immortal and give me eternal life or whatever. Total nonsense!

Got a call from a lady who said she wanted to marry me, I told her I’m a woman, then she said she’s into both genders for the right amount of money.

Got a call from a lady who said she’s a widow with loads of cash about to arrive after being with her sugar daddy. She asked if I could lend her some money till it comes in and promised to pay me back eight times as much. Sounds fishy to me!

Got a missed call from this PPI number, rang it back and the person sounded totally sloshed. Honestly, best not to pick up or return the call.

PPI claims. I kept her chatting for about 10 minutes before she caught on that I was messing around and then she just dropped the call. Funny thing is, she didn’t even question it when I gave her the postcode for 10 Downing Street, which makes me think it’s probably a call centre somewhere abroad, even though the number looked like it was from Manchester. If these lot are charging to help with PPI claims, I don’t reckon they’re breaking the rules, but cold calls are really annoying and surely not the smartest way for any business to get clients. So, I’ll rate this a Neutral call.

Said they were from a consulting firm, but I've been receiving two or three calls daily from them. Quite bothersome, to be honest!

I answered this call and said "Hello?" twice with a short pause in between. Then I could hear loads of noise like it's a call centre and I just said "Too late!" and put the phone down. After that, I looked up this number on here and was relieved I didn’t get stuck in some dodgy scam. But I have noticed that nearly all the comments on this site (including mine) don’t mention what kind of call it was. That’s why I use this site, so I’ll try to do better from now on, even if it means listening through some scammer’s spiel. Hope others on here give it a go too.
