I keep receiving calls from this number, and they keep insisting I dial 08009886166 to opt out. They also ring me, then abruptly hang up, asking for my name-likely just trying to peddle my information to some other daft company. I suspect they’re linked to TalkTalk, but they never openly acknowledge it. We're currently with TalkTalk, and while we’ve got a decent deal, it makes me consider switching providers due to this nonsense. I just don’t understand how they get away with these tactics; it’s pure harassment! There are days my wife gets inundated with calls, only for them to hang up. It can be quite alarming. I’m utterly appalled by this company's behaviour... utterly appalled! They ought to be thoroughly embarrassed! Haven’t they taken enough of our hard-earned cash already?

I've come across this number which seems to belong to TalkTalk's call centre situated in India. As a current customer myself, I’ve discovered that these representatives are quite keen on pushing additional services my way. If you’re not a current subscriber, they’ll eagerly try to persuade you to switch your service to them. Typically, they ask for a specific individual, so I simply tell them that person's unavailable and that I have no authority to make any alterations to the telephone service. That usually wraps up the conversation quite neatly!

Received a rather peculiar call from them today… I decided to turn on the tap and placed the phone next to it while proclaiming, “Our kitchen and living room are completely flooded at the minute; could you possibly send over a rowing boat?” Funny enough, I’m not quite sure why they hung up.

I've been receiving calls from this number every single day since last Thursday. They did call once and hung up shortly after. Just had a chat with them earlier today - they were searching for my partner by name. According to them, it was something to do with a discount on my TalkTalk account, although my contract isn't even up yet. We told them that the person they were after wasn't available and asked if we could take a number for a callback. All we got was the TalkTalk customer service number, and the moment we asked for their name, they abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
