I got a call from someone saying it was about HMRC taxes and that I was going to be arrested. The number they called from was 016164357277. Thought it was a scam.

Got a call saying there was tax fraud against me and if I didn't hit 1 right away, they’d send a warrant and I'd end up arrested. Total scam.

Loads of numbers from Manchester keep bothering me, ringing and annoying me non stop. I never pick up, instead I look them up here then block as needed. Like today, some person called twice, I just let it ring and then blocked their number straight away. What a waste of time!

“Hello?” I said cautiously. “Could I please speak to my partner?” came the voice on the phone. “And who am I speaking to?” I asked. “This is the British Money Savers team, calling regarding your partner’s mortgage,” they replied. I hesitated for a moment, wondering if this was actually legit. Then, just like that, the line went dead.

I pick up and as soon as I do, they just hang up on me. I thought this kind of thing was meant to be illegal now and that these calls aren’t allowed anymore.

Saw I got a missed call from this number on my phone. Going to block it so they don’t call me anymore.

Got a call from a guy with a thick Indian accent, sounded like he was in some call centre with people chatting in the background. He said his name was Michael. I asked him straight up, "What do you want Michael?" and then, weirdly, he just ended the call. Blocked him right away.

Got buzzed with a really irritating noise, like some machine whizzing, and then a voice came on saying hello before hanging up right away.

Was a guy from India, I just ended the call immediately.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent, sounded like a call centre. She started asking about my Standard Life insurance, but I told her I've never taken out one. Then she asked who I’m with, and I just said no one. Ended it with a quick goodbye.
