6 yearsI received a phone call from this number, claiming to be conducting a lifestyle survey... just another lot of spam, if you ask me!6 yearsHad a peculiar experience with a phone call today. My phone rang, and when I picked up, it simply disconnected. Turns out it was one of those dialling machines verifying if I was about. Once it noted I was at home, I just knew I’d be inundated later with some dodgy sales pitch or scam attempt. Best course of action? Just ignore and block the number!6 yearsI keep getting calls from Beneficial despite my numerous requests for them to cease contacting me and remove my number from their list. They’ve also reached out from various other numbers, including 01617683172, 016106400544, 01414561294, 01414565731, 01414563231, and 07492870823. This persistent annoyance has been ongoing since 11th November 2020, with them ringing me around three times each week. I've made it clear that I don’t wish to receive any calls, and I've gone to the extent of blocking every new number they use to reach me.Beneficial6 yearsPicks up the phone and then sets it back down again.6 yearsI’ve been inundated with calls from this number, as well as others purporting to be from “Beneficial,” bothering my 84-year-old grandmother multiple times a day. This has been ongoing for months, and the harassment has escalated to the point of them being downright aggressive over the phone. Fortunately, I reside with her and take on the role of her protector, so I'm the one fielding these calls. I've repeatedly informed them that we’re not interested and requested they cease calling us. Initially, they come across as polite, trying to engage us in a survey or some such nonsense. However, when I decline and ask them to refrain from calling again, they hang up only to ring back a couple of minutes later, this time with a barrage of insults aimed at me. They certainly do not hold back with their foul language and threats, insisting that I will listen to them. I wasted no time in disconnecting the call after voicing my utter disdain. It feels like we’re stuck in a relentless loop. It’s particularly disheartening to see them targeting vulnerable elderly folks, especially since not every older person has someone to lean on. It’s frankly appalling that these callers exist; they ought to be eradicated permanently. Absolute vermin!6 yearsBeneficial seems to have taken a liking to ringing my number, despite my repeated requests for them to cease. It's rather unsettling, to be honest, and I'm at a bit of a loss about how to handle the situation.6 yearsThis number hasn't registered in my contacts, so I’ll be adding it to my blocked list.6 yearsThey completely misidentified me, mistaking me for a female and claiming I had a feminine voice. This number has been a right pain, persistently bothering me despite my pleas for them to stop. When I made it clear that I wasn't interested in whatever they were selling and informed them that I’m currently living in care as a vulnerable adult, I expected them to take my number off their call list. Alas, they disregarded my request and rudely insisted that I wasn't paying attention, raising their voices at me. I firmly reiterated my stance but they were adamant about calling back, which I absolutely do not want. I've since decided to block them altogether.Submit Your Own Report (0161 640 9656)
