I receive a barrage of calls, nearly 17 times weekly, all from different numbers linked to some so-called 'beneficial' service. I make it a point to block each new number that pops up. Despite my requests for them to remove me from their list, they persist. I never engage with their questions, and now they resort to hurling abuse down the line, shouting and making dreadful sounds when I express my disinterest or remind them it’s against the law to continue contacting me if I’ve opted out. They’re always blathering on about needing to ‘update their systems’ since our last communication, which supposedly necessitates my input. If anyone has any advice on how to put an end to this, I’d be most grateful!

Got a call saying it was HMRC about some tax fraud and to press 1 for details. Sounds dodgy to me! HMRC usually sends a letter or gets in touch with your accountant, wouldnt ring like this. Just hang up and block the number, it’s a scam for sure!
