Yesterday i got a ring from Beneficial on a manchester number, though before that they’d been ringing me from different 0161 numbers loads of times. I just blocked them straight away. Today, they tried a new trick by calling from a 0141 456 1805 - blocked again. Looks like they’re switching numbers since folks are catching on to their annoying calls from the 0161 area. So, be careful if you see calls coming from 0141 codes too.

I can verify that 01253808409 is based in Blackpool. The person who called sounded the same as the last time, telling me to leave my name and phone number so they could take my details off their list. I still left my info though, even though they probably already have it. There's also something called [#]beneficialopinion[###] that you can use to get your number wiped from their records. I'm planning to look into it and maybe give them a piece of my mind. Hope this is useful to anyone else dealing with them.

I’ve asked them to take me off their call list and blocked the numbers, but that obviously doesn’t stop them. Now I just tell them off in the hope it’ll make them give up. They start calling me way too early, like before 8:30 in the morning, and keep at it till about 9 at night!
