It was really hard to make out what they were saying.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, claiming he was from the company that looks after my boiler. He said they were cutting down my maintenance contract fee, but when I said I never signed up for one, he told me to look at my bank transactions. I kept saying I had no contract, and then he just hung up. Seems like they’re after older folks, since he mentioned pensioners were the ones getting the discount.

Picked up the phone and nobody was on the other end. Could it be another one of those scams?

I think it was a scam, cause when I finally picked up, there was just silence and then they must have hung up as I was a bit slow to respond.
