The caller claimed to be from The Institute of British Architects but refused to give me any specifics. I clarified that we aren't associated with RIBA and that none of our staff are members or interested in becoming one. I offered to take down any pertinent information for passing along, but the chap became rather confrontational. In the end, he reluctantly provided his name and number, which is of little use without context. Stay vigilant! I've reported this to the ICO and the TPS.

Quite impolite and rather insistent, to be honest. When I politely decline, it appears to infuriate them even more. If you mention the Telephone Preference Service, they tend to retreat pretty quickly.

Absolutely relentless! They simply refused to accept a firm ‘no’. In the end, I had no choice but to hang up on the numpty!
