Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE. They asked if I was aware of my monthly bill and then tried to pitch a 40% discount. Felt a bit fishy to me.

There was a bit of silence before a woman with an accent and some background chatter said something about "Sky Services". I didn't bother listening any longer. I don’t have a Sky subscription anyway. That pause always happens with those auto-dialler calls, and anyone who doesn’t say who they are and where they’re calling from right away tends not to get anywhere with me.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, didn’t pick up. No voicemail left either. Makes me a bit wary, especially since my dad’s had dodgy calls in the past from telecom firms trying to get him to switch providers.
