Twice in a row I got calls, even though I had Do Not Disturb on. When I picked up, they said they wanted to inform me that my number ending in XXXX was about to be blocked in a few minutes. Definitely a dodgy call centre. I blocked the number but guess what? They rang again about three hours later, doing the exact same thing - two calls to get through my filters. Total scam.

Got a call but no message was left. When I rang back, my phone said the number wasn’t valid. Just a pointless hassle and a waste of time.

I got a call claiming to be from EE saying there’s a 40% discount available, then they sent me a text with a pin. At first, I thought it was genuine cause they used my name and the message showed up in the usual EE group texts. But I refused to give them the OTP and asked if they could send an email instead. Then the email came from [email protected] which made me realise it was a scam for sure.

Got a missed call so I gave it a ring back, after a bit of ringing a person with an accent picked up saying they were from EE. Didn’t trust it one bit and ended the call quick sharp, then went ahead and blocked the number right away.
