I received a call claiming to be from something called the National Energy Audit or thereabouts. To my surprise, they had my full name and my address as well, which struck me as rather odd. It definitely felt off, particularly given that the voices on the other end had that typical Indian call centre tone.

Got a call claiming to be from some national energy check or whatnot. They actually had an old address and my name right, but I didn’t hang around and just cut it off quick. You could hear loads of noise like a massive call centre and the person was speaking with an Indian accent.

Got a call from some Indian call centre. They actually knew my full name and address but when I asked where they’d found that info, they just ended the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
