I got a call from some phony loan firm claiming they’d sort me a loan but only if I took out life insurance beforehand. Then they said some other company would ring me up. They told me to answer the call and say it's for a family member to cover funeral costs, then get back in touch with them. After that, they said to hang about until they got some kind of confirmation before contacting me again. Total scam if you ask me.

Earlier today, I got a rather alarming phone call from a bloke on 01615498591 who claimed he had access to my banking information. He ominously warned me that £450 is set to be withdrawn from my account come Monday! Quite concerning, to say the least!

Just got a call from some people with an Indian accent saying they were a loan company. When I tried calling back, they wouldn’t even say what their company was called. Proper dodgy, if you ask me.

I just blocked the number - sounded like one of those dodgy call centres.

So I was already talking to someone when this number popped up. Weirdly enough, there was a voicemail that seemed really odd - sounded all robotic, kinda like those annoying dial-up noises from ages ago. Feels like it could be some kind of automated system or a call centre bot. I haven’t bothered to block it yet, just waiting to see if they ring back before I decide.
