A number from Manchester kept ringing me nonstop for a couple of weeks. Finally decided to pick up and they asked if I wanted a complimentary copy of Ideal Homes magazine. I said no, and they just ended the call straight away. Honestly, best thing is to just ignore it and not pick up at all!

They said it was about a survey I apparently did, which sounded right. The point was to get a free Radio Times sent to me. I gave my postcode when they asked for it. After a few minutes on the line, they claimed nothing matched that postcode. I figured the next thing would be them trying to get my bank info or something else dodgy, so I just ended the call straight away.

I've noticed they don't bother leaving any voicemails, and I haven't returned their calls. I've been blocking a variety of their numbers because I've received several calls from different ones over the past few days. All of them are now on my block list!

I was horrified to overhear a caller attempting to extract my 86-year-old mother’s account information and sort code, clearly taking advantage of her dementia. Absolutely despicable behaviour! Thankfully, I was able to intervene just in time and put an end to the call.

guess its one of those missed call scams trying to get you to call out on a premium line. over the past few days ive had to block loads of numbers from places like london, manchester, portsmouth and bristol. every time i block one, they just ring from a different landline number on my phone. really annoying tactic.
